Rear passenger window inoperable (in the open position). Needless to say, I need to fix it quick. Any tips on removing rear passenger side door panel to gain access so I can poke around and try to diagnose? Any clues on cause of problem would be helpful. All other windows are functional. Thanks.

Hey, not sure if you still need the info. I did this over the weekend.

1) Take out the plastic plug in the door and remove the phillips screw behind it.

2) Take a flat head screwdriver and wrap a rag around it. insert it under the control panel and push upwards. There are two retention clips holding it on.

3) With the control panel off you can unplug the window controls and remove a second phillips screw that is now exposed.

4) The door is held on my retention clips. It's easiest to start from the bottom and work your way towards the top.

5) After the clips are released the trim around the door handle will release as well.

6) Lift the panel up off the window jam.

I took pics as I went if you need them.

the power window motor of the rear passenger side door of my 2002 Nissan Pathfinder needs to be replaced but I am not sure on how to remove the door panel. Can you email the pictures you took when you did this job? It would really be helpful to see how it looks before I attempt to do it.

I would really appreciate it. My email address is [email protected]

Thanks a lot.
