im having problems with my bose stereo system the right front door speaker isnt working i tried a new radio and a new speaker that didnt work so i put the factory back in i tried plugging the speaker in on the driver side and it works does anyone know what the problem is is it the amp and where is it located in this year of maxima also my sub only works if you tap on it from the back seat it works for a while then quit can anyone help thanks :confused:

Is this when you are playing cd's or radio or both? There was in issue with cutout in most all 02 and 03 maxima's with bose. This is what we used to fix it.

Sounds like you may have a bad connection going to the speaker somewhere Are you getting sound out of the rear right? I wish I could help you where. You can look at the Factory service manual here

and look for your car and then check the connections.

yea some told me maybe its the amp there is sound coming from the right rear

thanks for the link i believe its the amp because the front right tweeter isnt workin either and the both run on the same wires off the amp and the subwoofer runs off the amp too i order another factory amp im going to try that and i will let you know thanks for your help

No problem. Also, check the door hose where the wiring goes in and make sure its not broken apart or been squeezed wrong, I've seen this on a couple of cars cause this problem.
