2002 maxima

hey guys from nico,
I just got into an accident about a week ago 12/17/11. I was driving down a two lane road coming up to a traffic light and was getting into the far left lane which was the turning lane. When suddenly a car pulled out in front of me i slammed on the brakes and tried to swerve out of the way and still hit him. So the police came said it was 50/50 because of me cutting over too early. I called up the insurance reported it and then they said it will take 1-3 weeks to get a police report till they can determine who's fault it is. All i have is liability but..... if its the guys fault then i should get my whole end replaced on my maxima. The only problem is that i went to the body shop and got a quote of 4600 for all the stuff which is over the value of the car. So my question is should i part out the car or get it fixed? any input is greatly appreciated

Car is a 2002 nissan maxima se
options are: Bose, six disk, full leather, heated seats, heated steering wheel, six speed, dual front power seats, window tint 20 percent and just replaced the tires about two or three months ago car has 150000 on it

Tough to say. Personally, I'd take the check and roll. Post some pics so we can have a better idea of the damage.
