2002 Maxima Replacement Plug Alternator Harness

Hi, I am new to this forum and need some assistance on a repair. I had to change the alternator on my 2002 Maxima GLE and found the connectors on the harness to be in subpar shape. I was able to buy a new harness (part24076-5Y700) at the Nissan dealer but the plug that connects to it (part of the main harness) is only available as part of the $1600 dollar harness assembly. I have tried several junk parts dealers but have not found one so far. Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket choices available for this part. It is a three pin connector. I tried rigging the old one but there were several wires that were too damaged and it didn't hold. I would prefer to get a replacement plug with a pigtail to connect to the main harness than to rig the new alternator harness. Thanks for any help.
