2002 maxima nocking

hi i have a 2002 maxima se 3.5. i bought this car one year ago. last month i notice a knocking sound when i started the car. it only happens when the car is cold. and i notice that the oil pressure light blinks at the same rethome as the knocking. i decided to do a tune up and when i was changing the spark plugs one of the plugs was full of oil. don't have loose of power or any codes(check engine)...if i put a new valve cove for the spark plug leak would the knocking go away? i think that the knocking is because of the lack of pressure that is coming out of the valve cover. need some suggestions

Have you checked your oil level? Is the car burning oil at all? You shouldn't lose that much pressure from a bad valvecover gasket. I'd definitely get the oil pressure tested, though, whether you do it yourself or pay someone.
