Does anyone have instructions on how to replace the heater blower. My car has 63,000 miles on it and the heater blower is howling when I turn it on. The dealer ship said that leaves or debris got in and the blower was hitting this and they were going to charge an arm and a leg to clean it out. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

Heres what I came up with from the FSM.

I think the worst case scenario your looking at is replacing the blower motor. However, it could be like you said have a bunch of crap on the motor itself... What id try doing is taking the blower motor out and cleaning it up.

you can see the blower is located behind the glovebox, which means youll ahve to remove the glovebox. Glovebox isnt too tricky to remove, theres 3 scews and a metal clip on the top right hand side. The little trim piece to the right ofthe glovebox comes out with the glovebox assy, so dont try and seperate it.

Thanks Wes. I spent half an hour poring over the FSM looking for that and couldn't find it.
