2002 Infiniti Qx4 defrost

My front defrost stays on even when I hit the defrost button to turn it off. Also runs when the AC/Heat is turned off. Any suggestions what be causing this to occur?

Probably the fan amp. Located behind the glove box under the dash. It's a DIY 20 minute job. Part is under $50.00 if memory serves.
BTW, dealer will probably charge you between $100-$150 to change it. Rip off.
(There are other past threads on this problem. I just haven't searched for them. Sorry.)
