For a short explanation, I have to build something clean, stylish, and useful for the most part while cramming tons of equipment into the car. It is my personal car and am building it as a shop demo car with a little help from Digital Designs.

The current equipment list that is here waiting to go in as well as what's being ordered shortly to help the first stage of the build.
Digital Designs 2510d4 (x2) with a dry platinum dustcap and the new "supercharged" magnet structure (10-75hz)
Digital Designs 6.5" subwoofers being mounted in the rear doors (65-180hz)
Digital Designs German 6.5"component setup being run active in the front(120-22,000hz)
Digital Designs S4 amplifier (Black Series)
Digital Designs M2amplifier (Black Series)
Digital Designs SS4 amplifiers (x2)
Digital Designs X1 active crossover network for up to 8 channels
Kenwood KIV-900 single Din Media source

all wood-grain is being taken out and painted with a black gloss with the exception of the center area. That has been wrapped in black suede as well as the headliner

The car currently has a set of Stern ST1 wheels, but hopefully these are being replaced with Vertini Hennessey or Sicilian wheels in staggered 20s. also the stance has been modified and the front now sits 1.1" lower than the current pictures and I'm waiting to modify the rear suspension till all the weight is in the back.

What happened with the headers/exhaust mod?

I still have the header back exhaust on there. And am building it section at a time. Since my company specializes in audio and video systems as well as upholstery and wheels that's makes the most sense to do first.

A little update on some things. The whole interior has been stripped except for wiring and carpet. The headliner has been wrapped in Black suede along with various panels and are already back in the car. the dash is being wrapped now in black suede, all windows, including windshield are re-tinted 5% all the way around, 35% windshield. the speaker box is 90% done and will be installed tonight, amp racks are being fabricated this week and new carpet is being installed next week. all the interior will go back together starting the 11th, to be finished and running by the 14th and driving to daytona on the 17th... I'll post pictures tomorrow

a quick update. All seats have been re-upholstered, doors, carpet, dash, rear deck. most of the trunk has been fabbed up and wiring run. here are some of the pictures. I'll put the seats in tomorrow along with wrapping all the trunk panels and creating the plexi amp racks and should have most installed.

I wanted end caps for the amps and DD doesn't make any. So I cut up another amplifier that was brand new!

bos, I really like what you did with the wood. Gotta respect you for steppin uot with this. Show cars have to be cutting edge and i think you are there. How much weight do you think you will add by the time your done?
Are you going to carry the new (wood)trim look uot side?
Off the top of my head, the engine panels might be ripe for that look////

I did something simple for a show recently

I've thought about it, and parts of the exterior trim are painted like that. the engine work will be later when I add twin GT30s to the car! that's when I'll address engine aesthetics. Till then, the hood will remain closed and the doors and trunk will be opened. all will be finished tomorrow night and it'll be on it's way to Daytona for Spring Break Nationals.

Oh there will be plenty. I think we are bringing 3 of our models for this show. We also have the Stance Show in 2 weeks, then we have Import Alliance in Atlanta in a month where I'm bringing a different model, and hopefully a show here in Charlotte at my shop mid May

Hey what's up love the audio attack were you able to tap intothe factory wiring or did you go all fresh. Do the dash or steering wheel controls still work. Also go hard was the suede install and info on this type of stuff would help me out a lot in the process of trying to tackle this stuff myself hope to hear back from you and keep up the modding

Your car looks good so far. I was thinking of doing something similar with mine. Will you be at the Dragon drive this year? I would like to check it out.

OUTSTANDING!!!!!
nice shoot at 23 seconds!!!!

Gotta say, that is the cleanest 'stock' presentation of the F50 I have seen. THe ride hieght is perfect. The tire/wheels fit perfect.
All the attention is on the interior! You really pulled all the stuff together in a very subtle but intense look. The grey car really increased the 'understated' but very "attention to detail" Look.

Home run!

Thanks for the compliments, they are appreciated

I forget the model off hand. But I'll send you an email with wiring info and the model number when I get to the shop tomorrow. I think one of our vendors carries Wald, so I might be putting that kit on the car and repainting in the next couple of months once more funds come in.

Again, thanks for the compliments!

the finished product for the interior is in the video, I'll get some new pictures when we do a photoshoot soon. the exterior or suspension is next. but paint scheme will be changed up a bit for a subtle change.

Custom airbag setup or Wald body kit with custom paint? hmmmm who wants to give me $8,000 for paint and body work?
