I just purchased a 2002 Infiniti I35. Basically... It's a Nissan A33 Body (also used on the Altima, Maxima, I30, Cefiro and probably more). With a Nissan VQ35DE Engine (also in the Altima, Maxima, G35 and new M)... All of which have Turbo Kits avaialbe... why the hell can't I find a turbo kit for my car? or is there something about my car that would make it unsuitable for a turbo setup? Here are some specs that will help fill in details if needed.

the only turbo kit that would fit your car would be the Maxima one....but there are not any turbo "kits" for a VQ35 Maxima. Don't know where you have seen these at. There is turbo piping available for the 4th gen Vq30 maxima but it won't directly bolt up to a VQ35 Maxima. I only even know of a few turbo VQ35 Maxima's which are all custom jobs....I actually know of more 4th gen Maxima's with VQ35 swap's that are turbo'd than actual A33 turbo Maximas. It's basically a custom job at the moment if your looking to turbo your I35.

SSR Engineering did make a turbo kit for the Altima 3.5 V6 manual transmission '02-'04 model so if you want to check on their site it might be compatible unless a few adjustments on the piping will be needed. i looked at their kit for my automatic V6 altima but it doesn't fit with the automatic tranny in the way
