Just replaced the timing chain at 235K miles, unfortunately I now have a God awful tapping noise more prevelant in park at idle speeds- seems to lighten up once I put it in gear. Please help

Is the sound coming from the timing area? Did you only replace the chain or did you replace all the timing components?
