My son's 2002 I35 passenger side window is stuck at about a third of the way open. It will not go up or down. I'm hoping this is a fuse situation and not a motor. Or could it be some type of reset switch? If it is a motor, how much do they generally run?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

There is a reset switch in the door but you must be able to operate the window to reset it. First thing to do would be to ensure there is 12v getting to the motor (or that it is working and the window is not off track). If not, back track to the switch and see if it's a problem there.

If you have power getting into the motor and the window is not moving, it could be the motor ($200+) but most probably the window regulator ($80).
