Hello,I've searched the forums but have not had much luck.

I have a 2002 I35 with 118k miles. I'm getting a code P0305 indicating that spark plug 5 is misfiring. I've removed the intake manifold and now have clear access to all of the coils, however, I don't know which plug is plug 5. Does anyone have the spark plug layout for a 2002 I35??

Thanks for your help!

Cylinder 5 is the far right (driver side) plug on the rear bank.

Cylinder count is like this:

=Firewall= 1 3 5 2 4 6=Radiator=

I now have a separate but related question.

I had been smelling oil prior to the misfiring that the care is now experiencing. I think this was the result of putting too much oil in the crankcase. After removing the intake, I now see that the air ports of the intake and the block are coated with oil... thus I'm almost sure that this is contributing to the misfiring that I am not experiencing. I'm wondering if there is anything that I should do, prior to replacing the plugs, coils, and putting everything back together? Should I try to remove the oil that has coated the intake ports?
