2002 I35 Mounting Kits?

Hey everyone, newbie to the site and I was wondering if anyone had any information on where I could get my hands on a Mounting kit for a custom stereo I was attempting to install in my car. I have ran across some posts that state they dont exist...is this so? I am also going to put in an amp, some 6.5's and 2 12" subs...is this difficult with these 'mini amps' that I've heard about? Any info would be helpful

You have th ebose system, correct?

The mini amps you are refering to are the bose amps. IIRC there is one four channel amp in the trunk for all four speakers. If this is where it's at then you can use the existing wiring to wire up th enew amp.

As for plates I don't know about their availability. I recommend you make your own out of would.

If it's the bose system then more then likely there are "pods" in the doors for the speakers. Just take the pod and use it as a template for your new mount

The closest you can probably get is the METRA 5th GEN kit for the maxima, but it will have spaces in it.
