hello,

I went to to autozone to pull the OBD II codes and this is what I came up with:

P0011P0021P1147

Can anyone please tell me the severity of these codes. Is it something I could handel myself or what would I be looking at cost wise if I take it to my mechanic to fix.

Any feedback would be so helpful!

IVT stands for Intake Valve Timing. I've never personally encountered someone with these codes. It may be a simple matter of one of the sensors in the circuit; or your engine is off time. Here is a description of the components involved.

I recently had code 1147, and like what was mentioned on another forum, it turned out to be a tank of bad gas. There is a TSB for that code, essentially the ECU is a little to picky and it is reflashed to negate nuissance codes.

Run a full tank of another station's premium, and see if the 1147 code disappears in a couple hundered miles. You can also do the gas pedal shuffle to reset the ECU, and read future codes.
