Thank you for your input. I agree, replacing the rotors can't hurt anything and it would give me a baseline.
I think I will have the wheels road force balanced first. If that doesn't help, then I will replace the rotors. I know I will have to replace the shocks/struts and the tie rod ends sometime in the next year or so as well. If all of that fails, I will look into the new rims. Those 19's look great, but that is an expense I am not sure I am ready to incur any time soon (baby on the way).
Thanks again.
Sorry for the late reply.
My car only shook b/w 68-73mph and it shook bad enough to annoy me. Beyond 80 it was not much, below 60 it was slightly there.
There was no pulsation on braking b/c All 4 rotors/pads were brand new. I can stand on the brake and there would be no vibration.
I think the rotors were not balanced.
But Guys here's the key thing...
I would get my tires balanced from Discount tire direct, Everything would come out to 0.00 .. Take 1 sping down the hwy and it would be great for about 5mins and then it would start shaking again.. Come back put the tires back on the balancer and All 4 tires were out of balance. This really bugged me. So BF GOODRICH replaced all 4 of my tires with Higher load rating tire and that Fixed it slightly but not by much.
I told them maybe the rim was spinning on the tire. They said I was crazy..
Crazy or not, I had an expensive car and didn't nead a headache of getting tires balanced 2-3 times a week.
