2002 altima wont rev over 3500rpms

a coworkers altima wont rev over 3500, rpms.. then it just bogs out. thy took it to the dealer ship 3 times and thye check back pressure fro mthe catlitice converter , and also fp. he tried making an account on here but his internet is to slow so i figured i would ask for him

may be a bad TPS (throttle position sensor) or AFM (air flow meter)

sounds like a classic maf probably but i could be wrong

yea i am not sure, but i think they may have figured it out now. casue they are driving around. finethey did replace the MAF but i dotn think that was thw deal.

yeah i know this thread is a little old, but i stumbled on it and figured most of the times a limit in the revs is mafs

yea. lol they had it narrow dowo nto the TPS or maf. and i belive they got it fixed now. but i am not sure.
