Well I tried to go cheapo and get a free estimate done on my Altima with no a/c. The tech, and I use the term loosly more like HACK, pulled the IPDM relay and broke it. Then took a paper clip between the ECM controlled grd pin and the lead to the compressor then put 12 v to it. I don't know what the heck he was doing and neither does he. Needless to say, smoked the ECM grd control. The relay, that can't be bought, is shorted closed. Now the clutch never disigages even with power off. So I added a switch between the a/c clutch feed. My problem is now the a/c system can do what ever it wants since it can't open the ground in the ECM with a signal from the a/c pressure switch when the pressure gets too low or too high. The pressure switch still works as required when I check the pinout. 5v, grd, 1-4v. Is there a way to add a new relay to this circuit so I can at least sence a/c pressure and open and close the relay as required. Please help. Thanks, Bill

If this was at a "shop" then they should pay for the repairs.
