Does anyone know if 30mm spacers are too much for the rear? I am trying to make the track equal front and rear and I need space on the front for my new wheels but the front is 19.6mm wider, so Im doing 10 on the front for clearance and 30mm on the rear to make up for the 10mm spacer and the 19.6mm difference.

I just dont want the tire sticking out, or rubbing on the fender wells.

thanks

what wheels are you putting on........ Widths and offsets will be needed...

30mm is a bit over an inch...

sorry thought I put that in there.

putting on 07 M45 19" sport wheels.they have a 50mm offset and are 8.5" wide. same diameter/height as my oe 18" stockers with tires, just wider.. they come with 245 40 19s.

so putting 10mm on the front to make for the 10mm of the wheel, and 30mm in the rear 10mm to make up for the wheel and another 20mm to make up for the 19.6mm narrower rear track width in the rear.

any ideas?

it doesnt work like that I dont think... you would have a realyl goofy looking fit if you put 30mm rear spacers and 10mm front spacers... The rear wheels dont sit in that much more than the fronts do.

well 10mm is not going to make much diff in appearance, and 20mm is less than an inch, plus according to my measurements, the tire will still be in the wheel well by a few mm. just looking for someone with spacers on their Q. maybe 20mm or 25mm.

Ok thats fine, but you wont want to run staggered spacers...

The only time ive heard of the wheels fitting different front and rear is on a maxima.....

well the rears are noticably more inset than the rears. And the specs say the rear track is narrower than the front, so I guess ill se wjat happens. I may swap out and cut back to 20mm on the front if it does not look right. weird that a rwd car has a 20mm wider front width than the rear.
