After the inside of the car cools off everything works again............ anybody got any ideas please

2001 Sylphy Bluebird
I hope somebody can help me when my car gets very warm on the inside the dash lights, speedo, rev counter, fuel and temp gauges and mileage counter stop working but also the interior light comes on. Also the central locking stops working.The other thing I have noticed is that the o/d light on the dash flashes.

That's odd - Sounds like a bad Body Control Module?

It's in the manual: BCM (body control module) controls the operation of various electrical units installed on the vehicle.
