I got 85k on my 01 4x4 LE. I had it in to get a new O2 sensor and ECU flashed (shocker) and they told me my rear shocks were starting to leak.

I was expecting to get new shocks sometime soon, but I'm not sure how involved I need to get. Should I just get new rear shocks or should I go all out for new front and rear suspension system? I'm guessing somewhere in between.

I'm planning on having this car as long as I can as I love it.

Thanks y'all.

Welcome to NICO.

Personally if it were my car I would replace all 4 shocks and their mounts as well as the rubber dust boots. THAT IS IMPORTANT!!!!!.. That is a minimum...

As a medium sort of thing, I would go as far as replacing the sway bar bushings front and rear (frame bushings and end links).. That looks to be about it as far as easy stuff you can do, and probably stuff that would need done at this point in the vehicles life...
