2001 Sentra SE 2.0L: Hesitation on acceleration!

My car has a hesitation on acceleration. Happens mostly when I am at a stop or slow down almost to a stop and accelerate. It had been doing it for a while and I popped the hood to replace a headlight bulb and there was coolant all over the engine bay. The radiator cap took a crap and was pissing out everywhere. I assumed that some coolant went down the intake and that was causing the hesitation. So I replaced the cap and cleaned the filter (K&N). It is still continueing to do it and I was wondering if anyone knew where to look next. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Well i think your an idiot for letting your radiator cap get bad enough to take a crap on you, i mean geez a new 1 is just a couple bucks anyway. hey you should get 1 of those nismo caps they are AWSOME!!!!

hopefully u didn't hydrolock it. water doesn't combust under pressure and its really hard to get out.

u could be a fuel pump recall victim. try running the VIN by the dealership.
