2001 Qx4 won't start

Today I went out to start my infinity qx4, and it wouldn't start. I turn the key, and the dashlights and everything kick on, but it won't even attempt to start. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Let me know if you have any specific questions.

When I came to this site I noticed there is likely a recall on my car. I'm glad that was posted. Now I need to get it started so I can take it to a dealer!

Does the security light blink after this failed start? If so, do you have any other keys to try to start with?

Thanks for the quick reply. No the Securilty light doesn't blink. It stays off as long as the key is in it. The radio turns on and the headlights turn on. I don't even hear a click when i turn the key.

Okay so I figured it out. This is embarrassing. The car wasn't all the way in park. Thanks for your help!

I think Some Nissans do that. I try to help people with car issues and i helped a group with their maxima had the same issue. Ur not alone it took me like 6 min to figure it out!
