And is somebody tightening the lugs with an impact wrench? That's a job for a torque wrench. I run
the studs down with a cordless drill, then a speed wrench, and finish with a torque wrench.
Same here.
I switch tires/rims twice a year (snows in winter, all terrain in summer),
and I use my 18V impact driver to start them down, then finish up torquing them by hand.
If I ever have my rims re and re at a garage, the first thing I do when I get home is loosen them off and re-torque them.
Most garages still insist on using impact wrenches, and they are always too tight.
BTW, incorrectly tightened lug nuts will also contribute to rotor warping.
