2001 Qx4 steering wheel swap help

hey guys, I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with the qx4 woodgrain steering wheels. I know a couple people that swapped out there stock ones for this, but what I want to know is will the left controls on the qx4 steering wheel work with the 97-01 Q45s? and if it's not compatible is there any way I can remove it and keep the cruise control buttons on the right side?

did a search and only a couple threads came up but for the g50's. anyone here successfully swapped out there Y33 steering wheel for a 01 qx4 one?

The only person I know of to do anything with the QX4 wood steering wheel is heywier427 and like you said it was for a G50. Maybe he can help answer some of your questions. His email is in his profile. It doesn't hurt to ask.
