Changed transmission, differential, transfer case fluids, Fuel filter changed. Throttle body service. Battery terminals cleaned. Tightened up front wheel bearings. New spark plugs. Freon added to a/c. Runs like new all for $550. 80,000 mi and runs like new now Also new Cooper tires, less aggressive tread, real quiet. Very happy QX4(01) owner Will keep a long time.

Nice, I'm doing the exact same thing with mine, should have it back today. Same mileage as yours. When I got my oil changed last they said some thing about the wheel bearings being loose, is that common with these? He wanted like $300 to tighten them lol so i figured it was BS

It's nice to hear that for not a lot of money you got your car right. Most QX4 owners seem to be very happy with them. The only complaints I've ever heard are they wish it had more power and wish it was more fuel efficient.

All too common. The bearings on my 03 Pathy need to be repacked and re-tightented almost every other oil change. Of course, this depends on your driving conditions and such. $300 is pretty average for a repack but I'm sure you could haggle them down to a lower price.
