Can anyone tell me where the idle control valve is located? I need to replace mine and I am having trouble downloading service manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you mean the idle air control valve, if so, there are many threads on here that should help with the replacement. Just run a search for "IACV" .

Does this image taken from the FSM help with the location of the iacv?

The round black thing to the right of the arrow is the actual IACV.. The black hose just below the arrow is the coolant line that passes through the IACV.

This is exactly what I needed!! Now for the second question: I bought a new one and need to install it. Do I just need to take the throttle body off or does the whole manifold need to come off?

If you pull the TB venturi loose from the upper intake you can get access to the IACV... Just remember the black hoses attached to each end are coolant lines...
