2001 QX4 HID color temp

Does anyone know what the color temp of the stock HID bulbs is? I’ve looked on my current bulbs, and it doesn’t show that; I’m assuming that they’re 4300k though.

Secondly, if they are around the 4300k range, is it possible to replace them with 5000k or 6000k?

This is my first experience with replacing HIDs and don’t want to f*** anything up.

You're correct, stock Nissan HID's are all mid-4K's. You'll find 5K is pretty near straight-white. You'll see definite bluing above that, 6K is quite blue.
