But have a new problem and wanted to see if anyone has had the same and knows how to fix.
I have the climate control on the Navigation panel. May be relevant, maybe not. All the controls work and the fan blows fine. Problem is heat will not stay hot and AC will not stay cold. Sometimes it works right, sometimes it doesn't. Last summer AC was recharged and ran perfect. AC is not nearly as cold now either. My mechanic, who really has not had a chance to look at it yet noticed when he was fixing something else the vents are not opening and closing right. Could this be the air mix door motor, blend door actuator motor, fan amp, cabin sensor, etc....? The fan also started making a clicking noise now.
Off the cuff, my mechanic thought it may be a problem in the Navi / climate control panel not telling the doors to open / close correctly. I'm not sure about that. I would think it more a mechanical / motor issue after the command has been sent. Doubting everything else works in the panel right but that it can't send just these commands correctly. Any opinions?
