2001 QX4 Gauges revealed!

So I decided to open up everything in my cluster to see if there is anything I can do to change the light color. The answer is no and here's why. There is a really thin fluorescent lamp that shines though some plastic that distributes the light. If I put a gel between it and the light I'm going to end up losing too much light so I'm just going to have to live with $70 blue turn signals and dummy lights. Here's what it all looks like and also a pic of a blue LEDx20 that I'm wiring to accent the floor, they will all be on the a dimmer:















I cut the heat-shrink so I could verify the rating of the resistor.

aw man that sucks! ah well at least you have rear heated seats, a facelift, and FACTORY HID's! oh and lets not forget you have 70hp over the 3.3L's!

Blanket. Must keep a big blanket in there during the winter. If your car ever got "stuck" in a blizzard, you'd need to keep her cozy...

i hope so man because i cant stand my guages dull color its not even bright white its dull white. i am changing it to red for speed!
