Just want to update since I solved this problem. It wasn't the control arm bushings, as the shop told me it was replaced recently by the previous owner. So I went back to researching the problem. Greasing up the drive shaft slip yoke, solved the problem. The below thread, goes in more detail on how to diagnose and solve the problem:ulenie wrote:Thank you for your reply. I guess, that area is loose and by putting a thick grease, it cushions it. This seems to be common issue in the GMC Sierra cars from looking online and some Ford trucks. I am guessing drive shaft will need to be replaced for a permanent long lasting solution.Towncivilian wrote:Interesting.
