2001 QX4 Dual Cup Console piece with wood grain on top

Hello,

I'm new to this site, but have owned a QX4 for quite some time now. I have viewed this site numerous times and have found a lot of helpful information on the site.

I have a question...

The lid and brackets to the dual cup holder that has the wood grain top behind the shifter console piece has broken on my QX4 and I would like to replace it, but do not want to spend $220 for a new part. Other than ebay, which I have not seen a used one on there for quite some time now, where could I find this part? The interior color of my QX4 is black. I believe it's part #16 in the console diagram.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried your local junkyard/wreckers?
I get a lot of my stuff that way. Saves me a ton of money.

I haven't yet...I live in a fairly remote area/country and there isn't an abundance of local salvage yards to really check, but I will try the few that are somewhat local and see. Thanks!

Mine broke at one of the little hinge brackets on one end. I was able to successfully glue it with Loctite Plastic Epoxy. The glue package says it works on ABS, Fiberglass, hard plastic. PVC etc. Sand the break, and the sides near the break, and get a little glob built up around the break. It should hold under normal usage if no one sits on it.
