2001 QX4 dash fluorescent bulb replacement

My instrument illumination in the instrument cluster burned out. I had expected that I could simply replace a couple (or 4) of the #74 lamps, and I would be done, and once again be able see how fast I was going. To my surprise and dismay, it uses a fluorescent bulb for which the local Infiniti dealer(s) want $230.00. Is there a reasonably priced OEM part, or LED retrofit? I have put over 275,000 miles on this car and don't want to spend $230.00 on a lamp worth maybe $4.00. I hope the experts here can help...
