Hi im trying to add a small sub and amp to the stock sytem. I got a line converter that is hooked into the wires that plug into the bose amp in the left trunk side. Sub isn't getting any signal, not making any noise. The amp is brand new and the light is on, so i don't think that is malfunctioning at all. Do I need to move the line converter to behind the head unit? Or is there a place to tap into the wires in the back for a good signal? Also, which wire is the remote turn on for the amps?

there are two ways that I know of to tap into the audio:

1. Tap into the rear speaker wires

2. run a remote wire from behind the dash radio. (This is the preferred method and will give you better response)

that doesn't help too much...

I tapped into the rear speaker wires from the wires that plug into the stock bose amp in the side panel. I hooked the remote wire to the blue wire in the same plug and it wasn't turning on the amp, but when i ran it to the audio fuse it was working. any and all suggestions are welcome.
