Welcome to NICO!

I'm quite happy with KYB struts and shocks. I went with KYB Excel-G struts and KYB Gas-A-Just shocks. I used Raybestos strut mounts. I purchased them from RockAuto with a 5% discount code for $377.67 shipped to my door.

I've found the ride to be stiffer, yes, but it's still much smoother than having the stock worn suspension with 133k miles (214k km) of use.

A strut mount and the struts themselves are all you should need. The factory service manual also lists some nuts as to be replaced if they are removed; these would be the upper and lower strut mount nuts, and upper strut center nuts. If you want OEM part numbers for these, they are:

[01223-00321] NUT (quantity: 4)
lower mount nuts (2 per side)

[01225-00032] NUT (quantity: 2)
upper strut center nut (1 per side)

[01225-00231] NUT (quantity: 6)
upper mount nuts (3 per side)

The rear shocks are DIY yes, a helper might be beneficial as well. You can order the bolts for the shocks at any Nissan or Infiniti dealer.

It's easier to have a helper because they can insert the shock bolt while the shock decompresses into the bracket.

I don't know how easy those are to change, sorry. Check RockAuto first though, they might have better pricing than Amazon.

That write up is for pre 2000 models. Your rear suspension is different.

All bushings are not created equally. For starters, there's rubber vs polyurethane.

And I'd chop the job into smaller pieces. If the bushings are shot, replace them one Saturday,
do the rear shocks another Saturday.

I was thinking rubber and I don't have the time to do it. I have a shop that will do all the bushings for $170.
