Hello,
I was replacing the serpentine belt on Alaternator side, and
I might have overtighten the idler pulley bolt. (Not Tension Adjustment Bolt)
I used torque wrench setting (2.6kg -m) and bolt just snapped. Can this be replace without major work?
Do I replace bolt only or whole belt tension assembly?
I appreciate any feedback on this. Thanks

D'oh! You most definitely can buy a replacement, though I have no idea how hard it is to replace it. You'll need to buy a new idler pulley with the mounting hardware; something like this one. Check the FSM for instructions on how to get it done (Pathfinder/QX4).

Post back if you run into any roadblocks, and good luck!

Thanks Atraudes,

After I post a question, I did more research and found out that I can only replace the bolt and nut.
Nissan called the bolt Shaft-Idler Pulley (11928-AL50A) which is a special order item.
Thanks,
