On occasion I will hear a loud squealing sound when starting up the engine. I think its the belts. Since this dosn't happen all the time, I was wondering if it was something that I should worry about. If it is, how do I fix it?

Yes this is typically a sign of slipping belts.

You shpould tighten your belts as the more they slip the more slippery they become until you will need to replace them altogether.

There is also a product called "belt dressing" which will help alleviate this, but its better to use something like this ,in addition to, jtightening them, rather than Instead of.
