I have a 2001 Pathy with a malfunctioning front driver seat. The forward/reverse seat movement is not working properly. The right rail drive functions, but the left rail drive does not, so when I try to move the seat forward, the right side of the seat moves forward a bit and then stops because the left side is not moving. I pulled the seat out to look for the obvious, i.e. coin or golf tee blocking it. No blockages found either rail, i.e. they move freely when I disconnect the rails from their connections to the drive screws. This is where things are a bit more puzzling. I removed the electric motor. There is a spindle from the motor that drives the right screw drive, and this is working, so I know the motor is turning. However, the motor is not turning the left screw drive. Is this a connection problem within the left spindle housing? Can I replace this part without replacing the entire seat? Any suggestions are appreciated.

When you move it forward, pull on the front of the seat at the same time. Most likely you put the seat too far back and it's just stuck.
