I have a 2001 Pathfinder LE that will not start. I turn the key and hear continuous clicking after a couple seconds. It's also displaying code P1320. Batt voltage is good and connections clean/secure. Any ideas? Thanks for any help!

Welcome to NICO.

Ensure all spark plug coil packs have intact wiring and are completely plugged in.

What is the manufacturing date of your Pathfinder?

OK, I'll check those. Mfg date is 09/00. Another thing I noted was that when I turn the key to ON, the radio will not come on. The unit lights up and extinguishes every couple seconds and I can hear the solenoid cycling in the back of the car. Thx!

OK, you have a 2001.5 Pathfinder with the revised coil packs. That means you have less of a chance of one or more being faulty, though that doesn't mean they can't fail of course.

Do you have the stock Bose audio system?

By solenoid, do you mean you hear the fuel pump priming for a second or so when you first turn the ignition to ON?

Are you able to remove the battery and go get it tested at an auto parts store?

The stereo unit itself was replaced a few years ago...everything else is stock. Is that sound for the fuel pump? I only assumed that it was associated with the the stereo because it would click when the lights on the stereo would turn on/off. I could get the batt tested tomorrow.

There is a high pitched whine for about one second when turning the ignition to "ON". To verify it is the fuel pump, you can pull any fuses relating to audio behind the coin tray. In fact, it would be a good idea to check those since a blown fuse may be preventing the audio unit from turning on, but that certainly isn't your top priority at the moment. :)

Connector on coil pack 6 was loose. Reconnected and EVERYTHING now checks good. Thanks for the help! I definitely did not expect this fix to be this cheap

Great! I'm glad to hear it was such a simple fix.

I had forgotten to connect coil pack #4 after a spark plug change (hey, the throttle body was in the way :gapteeth:) and I was able to start the engine. Of course I felt the misfire even at idle, and about 45 seconds of driving the SES started flashing. I'm lucky it wasn't something else too.

Check the audio fuses to begin with as I said above, hopefully your malfunctioning head unit will be a cheap fix too.
