2001 pathfinder won't shift into 4 wheel drive high, help

My 2001 nissan pathfinder has no problem switching to 4 wheel drive low, however when I try to switch to 4 wheel drive high the shifter won't move in the up position at all. Please help, I'm in 2 feet of snow and don't want to keep using 4 wheel drive low. Thanks
