2001 Pathfinder: Speedo and Fuel dash lights Out Intermittently

Hey guys,

I have a 2001 Pathfinder 4x4 with about 132,000KM (82k miles).

Recently, the dash lights for the speedo and the fuel gauge have not been turning on.

At the beginning, they would come back after driving a bit, but now it's gotten worse and worse, to the point where hy haven't come back in about 4 days!

It seems like a loose connection, but I just don't know where to look!

Can anyone give me some ideas on the cause and where to begin looking?

i have replaced a few instrument cluster in pathfinder's to fix that problem.
