2001 pathfinder rear passenger window not up

Hi,

I have a 2001 pathfinderr (4wd). Recently the rear passenger window has problems. I can control it DOWN from the master switch (driver side) and I can NOT control it UP. But I can ocntrol it up and down without any problem from the local switch (the switch on the rear passenger window).

Does it mean the master swicth is bad? How do I fix this problem?

Any suggestion is accepted.

I had exactly the same problem on a Subaru I owned.It was indeed the master switch. Problem with this particular vehicle was that the switch wasn't available by itself. They only sell the whole cluster as one unit.Not sure if this applies to your vehicle, but if it does, you might want to buy second hand from a junker or something like that.Hope this helps.
