2001 Pathfinder need info on up grades K&N, JET superchip and Flowmaster

I just bought a K&N FIPK for my pathfinder. the guy at auto zone told me to look into getting a flow master exhaust and JET super chip. He said this will help with MPG, Hp and performance. Is that correct? I just got a tune up and I am just looking for other things to help
