2001 Pathfinder LE Center Ventilator Bezel

I am in need of the trim piece (bezel) that goes around the "center ventilator." The digital clock is in the center of this assembly. I damaged the bezel while removing the ventilator assembly beyond repair. I tried the dealer in town, but the assembly runs about $300 (without the clock). Does anyone have an idea how I might find just the trim/bezel piece by itself? Am I being foolish to think this is even possible. I appreciate and help or feedback on my problem.

I am pretty sure that "bezel" is attached to the vent assembly so you will not be able to purchase just the bezel. Check for used ones on eBay, you can usually find them for around $50-$75. Or you can try some local junkyards.

I really appreciate your input on this problem. Turns out the two ventilators are attached to the clock with screws to make up the ventilator "assembly." The bezel is then attached to the ventilator assembly by two screws. There is a center ventilator on ebay, however, it has a black bezel. The LE model Pathfinder has a wood-grain pattern making it harder to find (aparently). I have tried junk yards in the area; they say it is hard to find an LE Pathfinder. Again, thanks for your reply. I'm still hoping!

simcoe, I think I know what you mean, but I doubt you'll find someone selling just that piece of the assembly, but do some eBay trolling. They're generally sold as a unit (bezel, vents, clock). I had a similar problem with the shifter bezel in that no one was selling just the bezel, they were only selling the entire shifter. I was able to talk a junkyard into selling me just that piece, though. Good luck!

Thanks for your input. Looks like the junkyard route is the best bet. I will try expanding my search, having only looked nearby. Any ideas on a broader search site? say, the SouthEast?
