2001 Pathfinder keyless remote Model # ?

It appears there are two models for the 2001 Pathfinder.Model/ 01AModel/ ABoth appear to be FCC #KBRASTU10

One after-market dealer claims they can not be interchanged, but doesn't have any info on which is for which.

Another claims the cut off was September 2000, but doesn't seem to have the model #s and doesn't carry the one for the pre-September 2000 manufactured Pathfinders.

So I have a 2001 Pathfinder manufactured before September 2000. Anybody out there have the same ? Can you tell me which model your keyless remote is ?

Thanks for the info.But, now I've been told that it is not as simple as a cut off date.

I called the local dealer with my VIN, and they gave me a Nissan part number, but could not identify the model # 01/A or /A

Nissan part # 282685W505Anyone have a cross reference ?

Well I found a guy with 2001 Pathfinder.

He has the Model/ 01A remote.

I tried to program his remote in my car, and it did not register when I pushed the button.

So looks like I need the Model/ A ......
