I have 1 daytime running light at 1/2 the brightness of the passenger side one. Local dealer does not have a clue how to fix it. They have allready spent 4 hours and can not find the problem.

Changed bulbs, and Daylight running module.

Nissan tech department have been involved but do not know how to fix.

Any ideas anyone?

The same happened to my 2001 Maxima. The dealer said that it was the daytime running light module. It is not a simple fix like the bulb unfortunately. This module cost me $312.00 and minimum 1 hour labour. Is it worth it?I did it because my wife and daughter use the car too.

The dealer tried changing it and it made no difference. They think it may be a grounding problem in the wiring loom some were.

Thanks

What happens when you put on the headlights? Do they both come on in full brightness? Also, are your high beams working on full brightness on both sides?Your daytime running lights are actually your high beams on lower power.(As for spending over $300.00 to fix this type of problem, I would just turn on my headlights during the day, and save some money. That's just me though.)

Hi.

I gave up on trying to fix it. I just leave the headlights on dipped beam all the time.

The lights all work perfect except the Dt lights..
