2001 Pathfinder codes 0340, 1320, 1110 lots of cam/vvt problems

Where should I start?

The light doesn't come on for a while after I reset it, but it always comes back on after a few drives. The previous owner didn't take care of it well and I've dealt with sludge problems since I had it. I flush the engine about every other oil change and I drop the oil pan and clean it out about every other flush.
