Out of nowhere, the doors are locking and the horn has the short beep to indicate the alarm has been set. This is only with car off. This is rapid fire. Not just once. It’s non stop 10 times in 30 seconds and then it stops for a minute and then rapid fire again.
No matter if doors are open or not, I pulled remote battery out, I tried to get it to stop by starting car and then turning off. Locking and unlocking doors. Then it stopped for a few hours. Then it’s going crazy again. Feel like the movie Christina. Now I really appreciate the movie more.

Please Any advice i will try it.
Thank you.

There is likely a fault in one of the door switches (front doors, rear doors, back door, hood). The first thing I would do is test each switch. In the electrical system section of the field service manual https://www.nicoclub.com/service-manual ... 001/el.pdf there is a chapter for Theft Warning System that outlines in detail all the items to check and test.

Maybe i didn’t explain it correctly. The doors keep locking automatically as if I am pressing the lock button on the remote constantly. The alarm doesn’t sound, so I don’t follow how a faulty door switch would cause that?

My bad. I misunderstood. I thought you meant the alarm was going off non-stop and in rapid fire. A faulty door switch might cause that but since that is not the issue I can only assume their is an electrical fault in either the front driver or passenger side door lock switch circuit. If water or something else washed onto either switch it could be shorted causing the door locks to trigger on their own.

I thought of the door lock switches but locking the door doesn’t set the alarm and it’s setting. It’s like the remote is pressing the lock button. But it’s not that as I took the remote batter out.
Any idea on how to disable the entire alarm? Or even the remote on the car side of it so it doesn’t keep locking the doors?

The Smart Entrance Control Unit may have gone bad. I don't think this device can be tested without Nissan's Consult II diagnostics system and new ones have been discontinued by Nissan. There is a Smart Entrance Control Unit Inspection Table in the electrical section of the service manual that might help you if you can do the work to check for the expected voltage outputs on this unit at the numerous pins shown in this inspection table. I am not sure how to properly disable the alarm or the errant locking of the doors. I would try unplugging the Smart Entrance Control Unit to see what happens. I really have no other ideas to try and help.

Update should someone else ever have similar issue.
I looked for an old remote i had, can’t remember I’d it worked or not. But I took the battery out of the old one. It’s been a few hours and no more problem. Hopefully that’s it.
