your remote turn on wire isnt connected to the right spot. check out http://www.installdr.com theres pinouts on where the wires are going. if i remember correctly the remote turn on is going to the wrong place on the standard nissan wire harness (aftermarket). splice it to the proper blue-whitestriped wire and your in business.

i had the same issue, took me a week to figure it out! very frustrating.

ohhh so you have the bose headunit....check your fuses before anything else
