does anyone have experience with installing a tachometer in 2001 sentra xe 4cyl. I have been told that all you have to do is connect the tach wire to the signal wire from the car (blue/orange stripe wire) and then you will have a signal. This is coming from a sunpro tachometer technician. The other thing I have heard was that you would need a tach adaptor for the tach to work. I have heard that the tach adapter is not necessary for this model year but those going forward ie; 2002,2003, and so on.
If any one has any instructions or could give me some light on the situation would be great.
