2001 nissan quest knocking issue

When driving under 5kms and i step on brake pedal just to slows down i hear a knocking sound from underneath passeger seat

I do not hear this sound in any other condtion if i step on the brake fully i don not hear it

I suspect it may be a brake issue in the back.

just need a mechanic too help clarify.

it may be brake releated, however i have seen this occur with bad ball joints also. how many miles on the van? is it a single knock or a repetative sound?

it is a slow repetitive sound only when i brake. and brake @ low speeds.

If i suddenly brake or apply a hard brake i don't get the knock
